I watched the most recent video from the Jennifer McGuire Ink Blog and literally ran out to my nearest craft store to pick up some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Sprays!
I am in love with this technique and how easy it was to get such a unique look! There are so many possibilities with different colors of cardstock and distress oxide sprays.
My local craft store didn’t have a great selection of colors so I ordered a few online and I can’t wait to play with them.
I’m loving the look of these classic Christmas colors!! I also think gold goes so well with them.
I used the collaboration stamp from Gina K and Simon Says Stamp from the Stamptember event this year. The gold pigment ink is from Altenew and is absolutely gorgeous!
I kept the sentiment clean and simple so the gold stamping could be the focus. The gold cardstock from Gina K goes perfectly with the gold pigment ink.
EEK! Spiders!!
Honestly though, I’m absolutely petrified of spiders. I kept telling myself those confetti spiders were just ants as I made this card! 😂

I put together this card using Newtons Nook Candy Corn stamp set. I colored the candy corn with my copic markers and embossed the sentiment on Gina K tangerine twist cardstock.
